Weld vs Hydraulic Press
In an effort to make sure we were making quality welds, instructor placed our T-joint welds in the hydraulic press to conduct a stress test, and both of my pieces remained welded together.
-
Tig Weld
Front profile of T-joint weld using Tungsten Inert Gas. Weld contains even "c"'s of equal height throughout the length of the joint.
-
TIG Weld - Profile
Side profile of T-joint weld using Tungsten Inert Gas. Weld is complete all the way through both welded pieces and contains no undercut.
