Originally hired on for just mic dressing, I ended up running the lights during the show as well since the previous light board op was unable to fulfill his duties, and I had experience with running light board previously. Demonstrated adaptability and being team-focused

For this production, I was involved in all stages of the lighting process. We started by focusing the lights and setting up the light plot, and then we started designing and adjusting for the show. I had to get in the lift and change out the gobos and switch gels for the lights in the catwalks. After that, I started programming cues through our light board and set up operation for the show, and during the production run, I operated the light board.

I designed and programmed the projection effects in the show. I originally said I wasn’t going to work on this production due to some scheduling issues but stepped in anyways due to the dire need for a projection designer. Was able to pick up a whole new program in a field I had no experience in within a matter of days. Demonstrated quick learning, ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to do what it takes to work as a team.

Built an abstract, brutalist structure that would need to be climbed on, jumped from, and ran up. This structure would not change throughout the show, but the set dressings would imply changes in location throughout the story.
-
Built and constructed the set to the designer’s specifications. This production needed all set pieces to be portable, rotatable, and interchangeable.

I worked under the Costume designer to come up with and construct the costumes for the silverware in the “Be Our Guest” sequence. We also constructed harnesses that the actors could wear that were able to be hidden under the costume that were sturdy enough to handle the weight of the silverware prop but also flexible enough to not restrict motion.
