Matchbook Designs

I’ve always loved the mid century art style from the 40’s and 50’s, and I enjoy experimenting with that style whenever I can. Matchbooks were a great form of advertisement that blended both style and function, so it’s fascinating to see how restaurants and hotels from that time would choose to use that limited space. I tried my hand at creating some matchbook designs in the mid century style for local businesses and locations in my area. All of my designs are made using Procreate.
